ABOUT ACCESS TO JUSTICE IN THE GIA QUILOMBOLA COMMUNITY
THE PROBLEM OF ACCESS TO THE RIGHT TO RECOGNITION.

This article deals with a critical study of the problems related to the lack of access to the right to recognition. This is a statement on empirical research that we are in the quilombola community Gia, located in the municipality of Quixaba, in Sertão do Pajeú in Pernambuco, where we conducted extensive interviews with community members, in which they were able to report their experiences of violations. their basic rights and the right to recognition as quilombolas. As methodological instruments, we used the extended non-directive group interview (maintaining all the care related to sanitary measures, such as social distancing and the use of masks, as the research was developed from November 2021), where we can listen and dialogue with and community members. The development of the research led us to understand the difficulties of the most varied linked to the absence of the realization of basic rights. As results, we could argue that the structural neglect in the process of realizing certain rights contributes to a violation not only physical and material for the members of the community, but also for the increase of one of the most unjustifiable effects of symbolic violence, namely, the exclusion and denial of self-identity of the members themselves.
