The digital age is promoting the ruin of theoretical life. The article investigates whether it is possible to preserve such a life, benefiting from the achievements of the phenomenology of perception. But that brings us to a challenge that many consider doomed to failure. It is about gestating (forming) sensibilities in dialogue, subjectivities impacted by the event of learning and teaching. Hence the question: would it still make sense to talk about bodies pregnant with the future, subjectivities capable of reactivating and reviving the intersubjective coexistence from which we rediscover our participation in culture and history? It bets on the answer that we are still capable of asserting our freedom, claiming responsibility for the future. Responsibility that has its starting point in a phenomenology of perception.
