This article aims to constitute an argument to the cosmopolitan project starting from the category of limit, present in Hegel's Doctrine of Being in the Science of Logic. Through the speculative-dialectical method, the meaning of limit in Hegelian logic will be initially developed, observing its potential application to political philosophy. However, we perceive an insufficiency in the limit, which in its determination demands the category of barrier. It will demand the dialectic of repulsion-attraction for the conception of the relation between the multiple and the one. It is in this relation that resides the cosmopolitan argument sought. In a parallel way, the central guidelines of a cosmopolitan project will be highlighted to be able to couple the determinations from the category of limit to an argument in defense of cosmopolitanism.
