MULHERES E PAULO NUMA MESMA EVANGELIZAÇÃO "Women and Paul in the same evangelization"

Resumen

Neste artigo, descreve-se o envolvimento de Paulo na questão de gênero. Procura-se desmistificar a ideia de que o Apóstolo era misógino. A partir do Hino Batismal (Gl 3,26-28), Paulo se transformou e se tornou um lutador na defesa dos estrangeiros, escravos e mulheres, subjugados pelo modo de produção escravagista romano. O Apóstolo teve, sempre, as mulheres, envolvidas no anúncio de Jesus Cristo, juntamente com ele e seu grupo. Naquela sociedade greco-romana, fortemente androcêntrica, aquelas mulheres e Paulo superaram as assimetrias de gênero, convivendo e celebrando a vida na proclamação do Evangelho. Pelos métodos histórico-crítico e sociológico conflitual, busca-se a compreensão de que Paulo envolveu-se com a força feminina na evangelização primitiva.

Abstract

In this article, we describe the involvement of Paul in the matter of gender. We seek to demystify the idea that the Apostle was misogynistic. From the Baptismal Hymn (Gal 3.26 to 28), Paul turned and became a fighter in defense of foreigners, slaves and women, subjugated by the Roman slave mode of production. The Apostle had, always, women involved in the proclamation of Jesus Christ, with him and his group. In that Greco-Roman society, strongly androcentric, those women and Paul overcame the gender differences, living and celebrating life in the proclamation of the Gospel. Based on the historical-critical and conflictual sociological methods, we seek to understand that Paul was involved with the feminine force in the early evangelization.
