Abstract

This issue of Ágora Filosófica, entitled Topics in Contemporary Philosophy, aims to collect and articulate a series of investigations which, without seeking to reduce the plurality of current thinking to a common axis, reveal the vigor and heterogeneity of the issues that traverse philosophical reflection today. Far from being a mere thematic update, this is an effort at diagnosis: to understand how certain classic problems reappear in new configurations and require conceptual revisions that touch on the very mode of philosophizing. Contemporaneity, in this context, does not refer only to a historical time, but to a hermeneutic position in relation to thought. It is under this interpretative key that the articles and reviews gathered here find their unity, not through a convergence of doctrine, but through a convergence of concerns.
