The scope of this article is to argue that language in Kierkegaard is permeated by the paradox, that its constitution takes place in the understand-ding of the fall, the limits of reason and the historical becoming. We can say that human language is the way in which the paradox presents itself, at the same time that it would be impossible to apprehend it outside of that. From the reading of the pseudonyms Johannes de Silentio, Johannes Climacus and Johannes Anti-Climacus, the writer Soren Kierkegaard presents the ways in which the language of paradox becomes effective in our existence, whether as a sign of contradiction, irony and humor. Is the truth communicable? This is the question that guides this leaflet.
