Bobbio, Heroes, knowingAbstract
The title of this text should not lend itself to misunderstanding. Bobbio has been since the 80s of the last century, and continues to be, one of my heroes. At the beginning of those years – exactly in 1980 – I abandoned a career in law that I practiced without much vocation in Sergipe, where I was born, raised and graduated, and came to Recife to do a postgraduate degree in sociology. He was practically illiterate in the social sciences; a kind of functional illiterate because he knows something about Marxism. But that was it. Or almost only that.
