Abstract

El presente artículo tiene por finalidad delinear, a partir de la lectura de la obra de
Leo Strauss, tres grandes paradigmas de la Filosofía Política. Leo Strauss, inspirado en fuentes judaicas y árabes del medioevo, ha formulado un programa crítico del proyecto moderno y ha delimitado tres momentos significativos de la
crisis de la modernidad (The three waves of modernity) Más allá de las reflexiones ofrecidas en dicho texto, la obra de Strauss permite delinear tres paradigmas para la Filosofía Política en su totalidad. La nota distintiva de tales paradigmas podría estar dada por la postulación de una clara discontinuidad entre Antigüedad y Edad Media por un lado, y Modernidad por el otro.
