Abstract

O Papa São Pio X denominou S. Tomás de Aquino, num Motu proprio, Doctor
Angelicus. Neste mesmo texto, ele comparou a inteligência do Aquinate com a
inteligência dos Anjos. De fato, esse título está de acordo com Tomás, porque
encontramos em sua obra, em muitos lugares, o tema das substâncias separadas.
Pretende-se, neste artigo, apresentar uma breve análise da sua doutrina
sobre os anjos, especialmente, em relação aos temas da origem, natureza e
ordem.
