Abstract

A constante polêmica nos meios científi cos e religiosos sobre a relação entreevolucionismo e criacionismo, ciência e fé continua a exaltar os ânimos deuns e de outros sem sérias refl exões sobre a problemática. Visa-se, com esseartigo, a fazer uma sintética refl exão sobre o pensamento do jesuíta, PierreTeilhard de Chardin, sacerdote, biólogo e paleontólogo que tenta colocar umavisão de síntese (evolucionismo criador) sobre a celeuma. É claro que essatentativa de quebrar paradigmas agrada a uns e desagrada a outros. No entanto,Chardin teve a grande ousadia de colocar algo novo e de ver Deus latejandoem todo processo evolutivo. A matéria é um momento no Espírito e Deus éo Alfa, Meio e o Ômega de todo processo evolutivo, sendo tudo chamado àplena Amorização, tendo o homem um lugar proeminente nesse processo:protagonista, terceiro infi nito e arco e fl echa da evolução.
