Søren Kierkegaard, through his books and articles, contributed decisively to the structuring of the various existentialist philosophies of the twentieth century. His writings have a disturbing, polemical and hermetic character; reflecting the concerns and existential dramas through which the philosopher himself passed with the religious stage as his horizon. Considering that “becoming a Christian” is for Kierkegaard the great existential problem, his work invites readers to make this same move towards existential authenticity.
