Uma Ideia de Universidade para a UNICAP

A Universidade Católica de Pernambuco tem, no seu próprio título, a definição de seus objetivos, que são a razão de ser de sua existência. Entender ser uma Universidade verdadeira; onde a inspiração Cristã esteja presente como sua alma; e pretender realizar os valores de cultura universal através da inserção e vivência na realidade regional nordestina. Dessa forma, a qualificação Católica, que nossa universidade ostenta bem no centro de sua apelação, é significativa: não alude apenas a um laço institucional ou histórico, mas atesta a inspiração que orienta sua própria concepção de Universidade enquanto Universidade, e que a impele, por uma motivação específica, à encarnação ou enculturação no contexto social do Nordeste.
