CELEBRAR A EUCARISTIA PARA CONSTRUIR A IGREJA NA UNIDADE (LEX ORANDI – LEX CREDENDI)

Resumo

A unidade da assembleia eucarística se manifesta na união íntima das pessoas durante a celebração, nos gestos, nas palavras e no uso dos mesmos textos e ritos litúrgicos comuns a um determinado grupo. Isso, porém, não é tudo e, nem mesmo chega a ser o essencial. Como levar os cristãos a tomar consciência das exigências éticas decorrentes de sua participação na ação litúrgica? Como resolver o problema da presença de opressores e de oprimidos em uma mesma eucaristia-signum unitatis? Como responder adequadamente às solicitações ecumênicas que nos são dirigidas por outras assembleias cristãs não católicas? Como conscientizar em vista do testemunho e do serviço concreto no mundo que cada eucaristia exige dos seus participantes? Tais questões, sérias e difíceis, não podem deixar de interrogar os cristãos de todos os tempos e lugares. O presente artigo busca discutir esses problemas a partir de alguns documentos da reforma litúrgica do Concílio Vaticano II.

ABSTRACT

The unity of the Eucharistic assembly is manifested in the intimate union of people during the celebration, in the gestures, in the words and in the use of the same texts and liturgical rites common to a particular group. This, however, is not everything and is not even the essential. How can Christians be made aware of the ethical demands of their participation in liturgical action? How to solve the problem of the presence of oppressors and the oppressed in the same Eucharist-signum unitatis? How can we respond adequately to the ecumenical requests addressed to us by other non-Catholic Christian assemblies? How to raise awareness in view of the witness and concrete service in the world that each Eucharist requires of its participants? Such serious and difficult questions can not fail to question Christians of all times and places. The present article seeks to discuss these problems from some documents of the liturgical reform of the Second Vatican Council.
