Comparou as disposi\u00e7\u00f5es da norma portuguesa com as disposi\u00e7\u00f5es do Euroc\u00f3digo.<\/p>\n<p>Em seguida, aplicou a quantifica\u00e7\u00e3o de a\u00e7\u00f5es a um &#8220;bloco <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Paralelep%C3%ADpedo\" target=\"_blank\">paralelepip\u00e9dico<\/a>&#8221;\u00a0gen\u00e9rico de 20 x 20 x 200 metros de altura e depois aplicou esta mesma formula\u00e7\u00e3o a um edif\u00edcio ic\u00f4nico,\u00a0como refer\u00eancia, que n\u00e3o existe mais, mas que na \u00e9poca em que fez o trabalho ainda existia, o World Trade Center, em Nova York, destru\u00eddo em 2001, por um ataque terrorista. &#8220;Escolhi esse edif\u00edcio em homenagem \u00e0s v\u00edtimas \u00a0inocentes que morreram nesse evento&#8221;, ressaltou.<\/p>\n<p>O palestrante quantificou, tamb\u00e9m, as a\u00e7\u00f5es do vento por um processo din\u00e2mico, chamado M\u00e9todo Shinozuka, que\u00a0gera a parte turbulenta do vento.\u00a0Gerou 10 s\u00e9ries de ventos artificiais para obter as mesmas respostas que o World Trade Center obteve pelo M\u00e9todo de Shinozuka e comparou as disposi\u00e7\u00f5es regulamentares portuguesas e dos Euroc\u00f3digos com a an\u00e1lise din\u00e2mica do m\u00e9todo, que \u00e9 chamada de &#8220;Resposta sem TMD&#8221;, ou resposta do edif\u00edcio alto sem dispositivos de controles de vibra\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>Para edif\u00edcios altos regulares, como era o World trade Center, a maneira mais cl\u00e1ssica de controlar as vibra\u00e7\u00f5es era\u00a0usar, o que em literatura anglo-sax\u00f4nica \u00e9 chamado de, o <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maurer.eu\/en\/products.html?type=891000&amp;tx_pdfflippy_pdfflippy%5Bflip%5D=36\" target=\"_blank\">TMD (tuned mass dampers)<\/a>,\u00a0ou seja, amortecedor de massa sintonizado. Portanto, voc\u00eas t\u00eam a sorte de n\u00e3o terem velocidades de ventos maiores e n\u00e3o terem sismos (terremotos). Mas, n\u00e3o pensem que n\u00e3o t\u00eam mesmo sismos, que quanto mais subirem na altura (dos edif\u00edcios), quanto mais flex\u00edvel for, muita coisa pode agitar o edif\u00edcio. Portanto, para saber essas t\u00e9cnicas simples de atuar e que de fato n\u00e3o s\u00e3o t\u00e9cnicas complexas, \u00e9 preciso saber matem\u00e1tica, \u00e9 preciso saber engenharia.
